Coronavirus (COVID-19) important information for Nuplace tenants

Support for Nuplace tenants affected

Nuplace is reassuring its tenants that during this challenging time, we are committed to supporting anyone facing difficulties or change in their financial circumstances.

First and foremost we want to make clear that we will not evict any of our tenants who are impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Equally, if any tenants are struggling to pay rent they should contact us to discuss alternative arrangements such as a delay to rent payments.

As the largest private housing landlord in Telford and Wrekin, we hope that other private landlords will do the same and recognise tenants’ change of circumstances and the impact this can have on them.

Our tenants should email info@nuplace.co.uk for more information or to talk to our team. Please note: you need to show evidence in your change of circumstances to our team.

Home visits

During this uncertain period, we will only continue with appointments which are essential or an emergency, including repairs. Please refer to your tenant handbook for further clarification.

If your household is in isolation, please can you notify us if any visits or repairs are due to be carried out.

Close of construction sites

As of 24 March 2020 Nuplace and building partner Lovell Ltd closed its construction sites at Maple Fields (Dothill) and Rowan View (Snedshill) in line with government guidance relating to COVID-19.
 
All new and existing tenants who have reserved a new home at these sites will be  kept up to date and informed about any delays to your move in date due as a result of these closures. You will be contacted by our team as soon as a new construction programme is under way in due course.
